Bei uns schreit die klassische Medienindustrie ja auch nach Reglementierungen des Netzes durch die Bundesrepublik. Mal schauen, was die Damen und Herren der Printpresse von der finnischen idee halten:

Auf gut Deutsch: Weil das Internet die finanzielle Lebensfähigkeit der Printmedien gefährdet, sollte eine zivilisierte Gesellschaft das Linux Betriebssystem nicht tolerieren.

Auf mich macht das den Eindruck weidwunder Tiere: Einmal angeschossen oder schwer verletzt, beissen die auch alles, was in der Nähe ist.
 
Edit: Da muß ich gestern abend aber Müde gewesen sein, denn der Artikel geht noch weiter, und der beste Teil kommt erst noch:

"By giving people free software, open source vendors are violating their right to choose more expensive software made by European companies," says Roche. "Paid-for software is clearly superior, as any student of economics will tell you. So depriving users of the opportunity to pay amounts to exploitative business practice."

"A tax will make sure that Linux users pay for their software," he says. "Users who were used to just clicking on software repositories to illegally download free software will have to think twice, or they will suffer the same fate that so-called 'peer-to-peer' music and film pirates face."

Hey wartet mal, ist das eine Satireseite? Bin ich wohl drauf reingefallen. Alles andere könnte - nein will - ich mir nicht erklären.
